'Derby' 
The first Grand Champion Bernese in Australia, Derby is a multi Best In Show Winner All Breeds, and a Specialty BIS winner. Derby had an exhuberant temperament loving to all mankind but very selective to his friendships with other male Berners.
Derby has passed on very strong breed type with incredible soundness. His breeding containing the famous Am Ch Dallybecks Echo Jackson on his fathers side, and on his mothers side he goes right back to the famous Ch Millwire Clockwork Soldier (Imp UK). These lines combining some great longuevity on both sides of the pedigree. 
Derby was euthanised in late 2008 due to a calcification on his spine effectively paralyzing his rear end.
His zest for life and strength of character is sadly missed at Branbern but is still strong in his progeny today, and still very prevalent in his great grandkids.
