'Mel' 
Mel entered Australia determined to win everyone's heart and he did. He welcomed children sometimes with licks that almost drown them, and he is the idol of many of the public who have met him at Royals. 
Mel was a multiple In Group Winner and Breed winner at Royals, and passes on through his offspring lovely temperaments, soundnes and strong breed type.
During his life he was a fun-loving baby sitter for the Branbern puppies, he lived to 10.5 years.
