'Wilbur'

Wilbur has stolen many a heart with his sweet temperament and gentle nature. He has done well in the ring with many best of breeds, DCC & RUBOB at Adelaide Royal in 2007 and also recognition at group level.
Wilbur was sent to the Meadowpark kennel in the UK late in 2007, where he has done quite well for himself, with results such as winning Open Dog & Reserve Best Dog at the BMD Club of Scotlands 2008 Open Show, and Best of Breed at the SKC Championship Show where he made this impression on Judge Mary Fallas:
"This male dog came in the ring with style and commanded full attention. Excellent head held high on a brilliant reach of neck falling into good shoulder placement. Level topline on a good body, super stifle and strong hindquarters, had no hesitation in giving him the CC & Best of Breed. I watched the group and he was pulled out in the final six. He must have a great future ahead of him."

By far his greatest achievement to date - winning DCC at CRUFTS 2009, a fantastic result for a wonderfully sound & typical boy & an incredible honour given to Branbern Kennels, with Wilbur now following on in the footsteps of UK Aust Ch Branbern Special Knights BOB win at CRUFTS in 2004.
Branbern extends a massive thankyou to Meadowpark Kennels for all they have done for him and also to Bobbie Kinley-Blewett for handling Wilbur to his win at Crufts!
Well respected CRUFTS Judge Mr Andrew Brace said of him:
"I would like a little more work in his head but this mature male excelled in outline standing and moving. In great body condition he handled extremely well, is nicely put together and combines substance with class. His handler made the absolute best of him and his performance on the day won the CC."
